MEDICAL DOCTORS STRIKES
Nigerian medical doctors began in the early hours strike on Tuesday following the rejection by
the doctors of memorandum of understanding the association signed with the federal government last week.
The minister of labour and employment Chris Ngige described the action of doctors as an act of sabotage.
Professor Isaac Adewole pleaded with the doctors to return to work and give the federal government time to resolve their grievances.
