CURFEW IMPOSES IN JOS
The Governor of plateau state has declared an indefinite dusk to dawn
curfew on the state of Jos.
There were reports today thursday which indicated that there was an ethnic clash between Hausa and Igbos in Jos,the plateau state capital.
Several people have been injured along Rwang Pam streer and Ahmadu Bello way,areas that are said to be dominated by Igbos.
police and other security officials arrived to calmed the situation.The Governor said security agencies had been directed to effect strict compliance with the curfew.
The Governor expressed shock at the sudden build up of tension in Jos metropolis,which some disgruntled element who have decided to throw the metropolis into confusion on account of their negative reaction to the agitation of independent people of Biafra(IPOB) in the South East
