Verizon is hoping to buy yahoo,to challenge Google and facebook in huge and lucrative field of digital advertising.
Verizon want to become strong chioce for advertisers by adding yahoo's popular sites sand billion users world-wide to its own media business.which includes Aol and Verizon's home grown go90 video service according to the association press.
It can place ads on those site and can also combine data from visitors to those sites with Aols ad Technologies and sales teams,and possibly also personal data from Verizon mobile customer such as location and other information in order to target better ads at individuals.
Yahoo's shareholders on Thursday approved the $4.5bn sales of its key business to Verizon.The deals expected to close by june13.
