WITNESS:ARMY,DSS,POLICE COLLECTED FROM DIEZANIS BRIBE OF $115M
Economic and financial commission on thursday named some of the individual and public officials who collected from an alleged bribe of $115m doled out by Mrs Diezani Allison madueke to compromise the 2015 general elections.
The document tendered by Economic and financial crime commission before the federal high court in lagos on thursday stated the resident assistant inspector General of policee in kwara state at that time received N1M cash.
The document stated that the commissioner of police in Kwara state at that time received N10M cash,Deputy commissioner of police in charge of operations got N2M cash.
The Assistant Commissioners of police in charge of operation and administration in kwara state in the document received N1M cash each.
The document also contain the Resident Electoral Commissioner in kwara state for 2015 general election was also given a cash of N10M and the independent National Electoral Commissions Administratives secretary in kwara stated at the document receive N5M while others officers received and shared N2M among them selves.
Oc mopol and his men who got N7M,21c mopol and men in the state,who got N10M,Director of Dss and his men,who got N2.5M.
Military in kwara state was bribed with N50M in the document while other security agancies including the Nigerian security and civil defence corps and the federal road safety corps got N20M
Usman Zakari,Efcc investigator who brought the document to court on thursday,told justice Rilwa Aikawa that it was recovered from a senoir Advocate of Nigeria,Mr Dele Belgore.
Belgore is standing trial before justice Aikawa for alledgely collecting N450M from Diezani and distributing same to beneficiaries in kwara states.
The Efcc accused him of handling the money in cash without going through any financial institution.
