COACH OF SUNSHINE STARS:EQUAVOEN QUIT
The coach of the sunshine stars football club of Akure Austine Equavoen has resigned following non impressive performance of the club in the 2016/2017Nigeria professional football leaque.
The sunshine lost at home to plateau united of jos 2-1 in their last NPFL week 23 match played at the Akure Township stadium on wednesday.
Sources said after the match on wednesday the former super eagle player was no where to be found at all,the coach did not tender any official resignation letter before his departure.
The source said that he had earlier promise if there is no improvement in the team,he would walk away.It was obvious that he was not happy with the performance of the team.
